Is Your Team Really Using Power BI?

Let me ask you - how often are your teams still using Excel while Power BI is sitting right there, underused? It’s a common story I hear from businesses of all sizes, whether it's a startup or a large organization. Power BI has become a game-changer for many companies, but there are still so many teams that haven’t fully kicked things off yet.

Here’s the thing: Power BI is more than just nice charts. It helps centralize your data, gets rid of multiple versions of the same thing, and gives you real-time insights to make faster, better decisions. But here’s the thing - just having Power BI isn’t enough.

Your team needs to know how to use it. And I don’t just mean how to look at a report, but how to clean data, model it properly, and make sure it’s secure. Because the more your team understands Power BI from the inside out, the faster and more efficiently everyone can work.

A lot of businesses are moving toward self-service BI or BI for everyone - giving their people the tools to analyze data without always relying on IT or data teams. But for that to really work, your team needs the right foundation. Without basic knowledge of data, you end up with messy reports and wasted time.

That’s why we’ve put together a new Power BI training program (English and Dutch), starting in mid-October '24:

  • Day 1: On-demand videos and hands-on exercises that cover the basics. Also available live for those who prefer that.

  • Day 2: We’ll dive into building reports using your own or dummy data, with an expert available for all the small details that make a big difference.

By the end, your team will have the skills they need to start using Power BI effectively, not just clicking through reports. Better communication, faster insights, and more confident decision-making - it all starts with proper training.

If you’re ready to help your team get more out of Power BI, just click here to grab a coffee chat to talk about it.

Let me know if you have any questions!
